We offer sword study supplies.
We carry both maintenance items, and oshigata kits.  The photo at right shows the typical tools-of-study at work.  The two swords have been dismantled and cleaned.   Oshigata, or rubbings, of the tangs were then made.  While in the background Hawley's Japanese Swordsmiths and an appropriate reference book of oshigata are consulted.

These kits include all the components needed to make traditional oshigata: 30 pieces of 1¾ x 9½" washi (Japanese paper), 1 sekkaboku (ink stone), 2 weights, 2 clips, and 2 magnets.  Sold Out
